Custom Input

Provide information, and we will create the optimal search configuration for our data sources.

Understanding the best search terms for different platforms or databases can be challenging. With Roundtable, you don't have to worry about that. Simply provide raw information, and our algorithms will optimize the queries for you.

You have three different input options:

  • Longform text: Type or paste detailed text into the search box. Be as specific as possible, and provide sufficient detail. There's no need to "keyword hack" your query—you can even start with, "I want to find...".
  • Add a URL: Enter a website URL, and we'll crawl it for information. This is particularly useful for competitor websites, patents, or other technical resources you don't have time to analyze. Follow these steps:
    1. Enter the name and link for a webpage, then click 'Go'.
    2. After a few seconds, a list of linked pages will appear. Click the '+' icon to add those links to the content to scrape.
    3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you're satisfied with the scope of the scraping, then click 'Generate'.
  • Attach a PDF: Upload a file, and we'll extract its content to create searches. This is especially helpful for documents like technology reports or publications. Once you 'Choose File', wait a few seconds until the message 'File successfully loaded ...' appears, then click 'Generate'.

After clicking 'Generate,' you'll be taken to your Dashboard, where you can view the newly created searches.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you process the PDFs and can I upload confidential documents?

We extract the text from PDFs, store it, and process it to create searches for you now and in the future. That PDF text is associated with your account and not shared with anyone else. However, we recommend uploading only public or non-confidential documents. If you would like a document permanently deleted, please contact us at [email protected].
