Run Searches

Discover relevant results from millions of data sources, including academic publications and technologies.

Running your searches is the key step to producing tailored results (sometimes called 'projects' in Roundtable terminology). The number of results is shown in the top right corner. Each result includes several tags providing customized information. Click on any tag for an explanation.

If you find a result interesting, favorite it by clicking the star icon in the top right corner of the result. This will make it easier to find later and will help us curate insights and recommend results more effectively in the future.

How does our search process work? We use AI to scan publications across various data sources and take the following steps:

  1. Load: We compile extensive lists of research and technologies.
  2. Search: We create a short list of results based on your input.
  3. Analyze: From the short list, we deeply analyze publication texts against your search criteria.
  4. Customize: We personalize and summarize the information for you.

This process takes time—most searches take about a minute to display results. As you start to see results, our algorithms continue analyzing asynchronously. This means some relevant results may get reshuffled to the top of the list as the process completes.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get more results returned?

We suggest creating a new search with a more specific set of inputs. Roundtable is designed to return about twenty of the most relevant results per search, as our algorithms spend significant computational time understanding and personalizing the results.

Why do I get an error pop-up when the search is loading?

We aggregate data from multiple sources. Occasionally, one of these sources may return an API error. Try again later or schedule the search for a future time. If the problem persists, please contact us at [email protected].
